Youth Drug Use Prevention Projects by INL
Youth Drug Use Prevention Projects is supported by US International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), US Embassy, Myanmar. The Projects are conducted in all Regions where SARA conducted harm reduction activities in Kachin, North Shan and Sagaing Regions.
The project has five interventions;
1. Teaching of Life Skills for Youths for drug use prevention.
2. Teaching of Parenting Skills to parents.
3. Awareness raising activities through mass media.
4. Strengthening the Coordination Systems
5. Buidling of data evidence base for monitoring effectiveness of interventions.
6. Provision of Primary Mental Health Care to children and youth.
7. Creating Positive School Climate in Middle and High Schools.
